IES Project
Summary
The summit project was very interesting. Although at times it was very annoying to do, it turned out to be pretty fun. The best part of the project was the summit itself. We had to interact with other groups to try and reach our goals depending on what country we had. For example, my country Egypt had a lot of tourism, but not much technology. Since this was the case during the summit we had to find other countries that had technology and trade with them. We would trade our tourism for technology since we had to much tourism We had to get more stuff like raw materials, military goods, food products, etc. Depending how our country ended up, would tell us how good we traded and made alliances.

Reflection
-The most interesting thing I learned in economics is wealth distribution. It is crazy how in some countries only 1% of the population can have 50% of the country's money. This means that there really isn't a middle class since the middle and the low class are both very far from reaching the high class. Having only 1% of the people own 50% of the money is very bad for everyone else. Every country should do something about this. This made me understand why there are so many people that are homeless and why it is so rare to meet people from the high class. I think they should charge more taxes on the wealthy to have better money distribution. What I learned about myself is that I work better with teammates. I am able to ask for help if I need it and they always there if I also need some help when doing something.
Current Events
-So we made a presentation about Egypt talking about the basics of Egypt like GDP per capita for example. We even included 3 currents events, two of which are listed below.
