I learned to appreciate hand made goods, especially leather products. Working with Bradley Mountain has taught me some of the things people do to make leather products. In this case it was leather backpacks. Working with the leather wasn't too hard but the time consuming part was making sure that measurements and cuts were as perfect as possible. Doing this over and over can be tiring and annoying but the end product is very worth it. Once the item is finished you think to yourself, "I made that, from flat pieces of canvas and leather to an elegant looking backpack." The people that were in this work environment were amazing. They were extremely forgiving, caring, and positive. It made the workplace a very good place to be at. The positivity would stick to you and instantly make you feel confident and happy. Doing this for a month has made me realize I really like doing hands on stuff. What this means is not repetitive tasks but different tasks from time to time.
